A mass was offered by Magalona's family at his grave site. His wife Pia also launched the Master Rapper's third death anniversary shirt, "Mic Ellipse," designed by Leinil Yu.
Magalona died in 2009 after a year of battling leukemia. He was 44.
Launched as a teen star in the 1980s, Magalona is the son of celebrity couple Pancho Magalona and Tita Duran.
His career boomed with his rap song "Mga Kababayan," which was included in the album "Yo!" released in 1990.
Magalona was also the voice behind the hits "Ito ang Gusto Ko," "Meron Akong Ano," "Mga Praning" and "Kaleidoscope World."
