After gaining popularity with his first lead role in Super Inggo back in 2006, former child star Makisig Morales makes his television series comeback in the upcoming teen horror show Oka2kat which was inspired by the original Oka Tokat series which aired for five years until 2002.
The 15-year-old singer-actor admitted he is challenged by his newest role as the bookworm Neil. Maschallenging ito,” he said during the Oka2kat presscon held last January 31 at the ABS-CBN compound.
Although he has been making guest appearances in various shows since Super Inggo finished airing, Makisig admitted that he wished his aborted fantaserye Utoy, which he shot with Dolphy, had pushed through. Parang it was an honor na makasama si Tito Dolphy. So nabababad babad kami dun at sobrang pinaghirapan naming yung show na yun.
Makisig said that he had learned a lot from the local King of Comedy.
Makisig also shared what he misses most about Dolphy.
The talented teen actor said he is not worried at the reaction from the public now that he is a child actor no more. Pag nasa set, ini-enjoy lang namin yung work namin. Tapos siyempre pag may time for play, nagple-play naman kami,” he said.
