Rama earlier said she will only forgive Montenegro if the actress will issue a public apology.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Montegro’s legal counsel Maggie Abraham said the actress will never say sorry to Rama because she is fighting for her children, who were allegedly abused by Rama.
“Nadia will not do that. She is the complainant. The initiative for an apology should come from the respondent,” Abraham said.
Montenegro did not attend the preliminary investigation in San Juan Fiscal Office on Monday for the theft case Rama filed against her.
But Rama and Montenegro are set to see each other again on February 15 at the Quezon City Regional Trial Court for the hearing of consolidated cases of child abuse, libel, oral defamation and falsification of public documents.
Meanwhile, Rama was cool-headed during Monday’s hearing.
Rama said she does not want to get angry because she is preparing for her Valentine’s Day celebration with husband Eddie Gutierrez.
“Matibay kami ni Eddie kasi wala na siyang hahanapin pa -- may maid na siya, yaya, lover, asawa, nurse ano pa, okay kami,” she said.
“Kapag galit ako, lumalabas siya ng bahay. Kapag siya galit, ako naman ang umaalis. Bigayan lang kami, he he he. Happy Valentines,” Rama added.
According to the talent manager, her Valentine’s gift for Gutierrez is a golf set. –
