Canadian punk princess Avril Lavigne is coming back to Manila for a one-night performance, as part of her Black Star Tour.
In her official Twitter account, Lavigne said she will be performing at Araneta Coliseum on February 16, days after performing in China.
"After Japan I'll be @ Guangzhou Arena Feb 11th,Beijing's MasterCard Center the 14th,Manila's Smart Araneta Feb 16th & Kuala Lumpur Feb 18th!," Lavigne said.
Lavigne's post-Valentine's show will be her third show in Manila.
Her first was last March 31, 2005 and her second in September 3, 2008.
In her show, Lavigne is expected to perform her hits which includes -- "Girlfriend," "When Your Gone," "The Best Damn Thing," "My Happy Ending," "He Wasn't, Fall To Pieces," "Complicated," "Sk8ter Boi," "I'm With You," "Why," "Losing Grip," "Don't Tell Me," "Keep Holding On," "Let Go and "Nobody's Home."
Aside from Lavigne's concert, American rock band "The Maine" will also have a one-night concert on March 31.
In their blog site, the band invited their Filipino fans to watch their comeback show in Manila.
"Hey Manila, we will be heading back for a headlining show on March 31st at SM North Sky Dome. Doors open at 7 PM and tickets are on sale now!... It has been over a year and we are looking forward to another amazing trip to the Philippines."
