Montano said Cruz fully supports his newest project with Sam Pinto, adding that his wife has a girl crush on the former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate.
Pinto was hailed as FHM Philippines' Sexiest Woman in the World for 2011.
"Sa totoo lang hindi, hindi, ibig sabihin niya ay hindi kaselos-selos si Sam. Just because si misis ay sobra ang suporta sa akin at pagmamahal. At saka full support siya dito. At saka sobrang crush din niya si Sam," Montano said.
Montano added that he and Cruz will be celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary on February 23.
"Hitman" is the remake of 1981 film "Maestro" topbilled by the late Fernando Poe Jr. Aside from being the lead star, Montano is also the writer, director and producer of the film, which tells the story of a man who is seeking justice for the death of his family.
The film also stars Ricky Davao, Mark Herras, Rommel Montano, Jeffrey Tam, Sunshine Garcia, Ryan Eigenmann, Joko Diaz and Philip Salvador.
"Hitman" is also Montano's first film project with son Diego Loyzaga.
Meanwhile, Montano said he will do another action movie to be directed by Carlo J. Caparas for this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.
