Controversial celebrity Hayden Kho revealed on Wednesday that he is currently preparing for a showbiz comeback.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News during a fashion event, Kho said he is set to take up workshops to groom him for his upcoming return to showbusiness.
“I joined Stages (management company), so starting next week we will be doing a lot of workshops, acting workshops under Ana Lim, so before sumabak prepared naman. Kasi before basta na lang isinalang na walang preparation, so right now we’re preparing for everything,” he said.
Asked what made him decide to give showbusiness another shot, Kho said he hopes that this will serve as an opportunity for him to redeem himself.
“Sa akin kasi doon ako nadapa sa showbiz before, so siguro doon din ako magkakaroon ng opportunity na baguhin lahat, maayos lahat,” he explained.
Kho was just starting to make waves as a contestant in a celebrity singing contest when he was caught in a sex-video scandal in 2009.
Kho said his real-life girlfriend, celebrity doctor Vicki Belo, is very supportive of his decision to return to the limelight.
“Clear naman ‘yung objective ko eh. This is not something I would like to do forever. Nilinaw ko naman na this is just a means to an end. I have several goals that she (Belo) is aware of, na kailangan ko lang ito para ma-push ‘yung goals na ‘yon,” he said.
Although she is supportive of Kho’s decision, however, Belo admitted that she is a little hesitant to let her boyfriend return to showbiz.
Sharing her thoughts, she said, “Eh natatakot ako, di ba? Baka alam mo naman 'dun ang daming magaganda masyado at, ewan ko.”
“But he’s changed na daw. Let’s see bantayan niyo lahat,” the doctor said. --
