As an alumni of a former teen-oriented show herself, Bangs Garcia admits she is happy when she found out she was part of the new high school themed series Luv U (short for Lamberto Uy Villarama University, the school where all the characters in the show meet). Si KuyaSmokey (Manaloto) lang yung nandito so parangreunion for us.,” she says.
The sexy actress adds she did not hesitate accepting the role of an English teacher even if the majority of the cast are teens who are former alumi of the kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit. Kasi right now I’m taping a very dramatic teleserye so sobrang bigat nung ginagawa ko so kailangan ko ng isang projectna parang relaxing naman.
The 24-year-old reveals she is not bothered by playing a senior role in the series. Tsaka sila direk Bobot Mortiz pa rin yung director so happy ako.
Bangs admits she is happy with the way her life is right now especially since she recently started dating a non-showbiz guy last December. “I’m dating someone now. Nag-aantay pa ako ng confirmation from friends and sa work schedule,” she shares. Bangs says she is happy to move on from her past relationship which ended last year. “Last year I just got out of a very stressful relationship and siguro sa sobrang stress ko dati medyo parang tago yung personality ko. Songayon lumabas yung totoong ako. Very bubbly, very colorful ang personality ko, full of surprises,” she tellsPush.com.ph.
For 2012 Bangs hopes to further hone her comedic chops, as well as try out a variety of other roles as well. So sa akin ayoko ring mawala sa akin ang comedy until I get old.”
