Rumors have it that Francisco left the show because of a conflict with his girlfriend Melai Cantiveros.
Both are reported to have called it quits but neither of them have spoken about the matter.
In a statement released on “The Buzz” on Sunday, Business Unit Head Cynthia Jordan said they are wishing Francisco well in his chosen venture.
“The producers of 'Banana Split' wishes to thank Jason Francisco for his contribution and support for the show. We wish him well on his future endeavors,” she said.
Meanwhile, the fans of Francisco and Cantiveros, more commonly known as the “Melasons,” also refused to confirm reports.
They, however, said that they will continue to support the two despite the controversy.
“For Melai and Jason, on behalf of Melason.com and Melason Global, gusto naming iparating na mananatili kaming nandito nakasuporta sa kahit anong pinagdadaanan at pagdadaanan pa nila,” the statement read.
“Sana maging matatag din sila at ma-overcome nila lahat ng pagsubok dahil kapag nakikita namin sila at may problema, nalulungkot din kami. Basta kahit ano mangyari todo-todo support namin at hinding hindi kami bibitiw,” the statement added.
