As Growing Up nears its finale, Kathryn Bernardo admitted she is not yet ready to let go of the weekend teen-oriented show. “It’s super, super sad. Pag nakikita namin na last two episodes na lang, sadtalaga. Kasi nag-start kami medyo matagal na rin yung samahan at saka yung bond namin with DirekLino (Cayetano), kila ate Ma (Maricar Reyes), parangfamily talaga. Ito yung show na first time ko kinonsider na family lahat. Super light lang, ang saya-saya, super. The best sila,” she said.

The 15-year-old actress admitted she has lots of unforgettable memories on and off the set with theGrowing Up cast and crew. “Every time na nagba-bonding kami kasi, kapag wala kaming taping taposokay yung schedules namin, nagbo-bonding kami parati. We go out for dinner or go to The Fort kasama sila Direk. Yun yung mgabonding sessions namin with the cast,” she shared with Push.com.ph.

In her next television project, Kathryn is once again paired with co-star Daniel Padilla who is rumored to be courting her off-screen as well. The young actor admitted to Push.com.ph in a recent interview that he was hoping to take her out on a date for Valentine’s day. “Mahaba-habang usapan yan. At saka kailangan magpaalam formally kung sino man ang mag-aayang guy if ever (laughs),” she said.

But if her mom gives him permission to take her out, Kathryn said she would be open to being his Valentine this year.

Although her Growing Up co-star and close friend Julia Montes has moved on to do a more mature role inWalang Hanggan, Kathryn said she is not looking to follow in Julia’s footsteps anytime soon. So ako parang nasa mga 15 to 17 year old, mga ganun lang.

Kathryn admitted that her fans will have to wait at least a few more years before she does mature roles. Siguro mga two years pa (laughs). Matagal pa,” she said.

Kathryn said that even though they are now being put in separate projects, she and Julia will always be there for each other. “Nung napanuod ko nga siya sa Walang Hanggan, naiiyak nga ako kasi dalaga na siya (laughs).Iba na talaga kung titingnan mo, pero in a good way nakakatuwa kasi parang andun siya sa stage na matured roles na talaga and sa start din kinabahan si Julia so para sa akin, susuportahan naman namin siya sa ano man yung roles na ibigay sa kanya. And so far nakita naman namin na super successful talaga ng first mature role niya. So sana mag-tuloy-tuloy yun at nandito lang kaming lahat para sa kanya,” she told Push.com.ph.
